Establishing an organization that works smoothly at shore and aboard, in an emergency or ordinary situation.

Clarify the responsibility and authority of each post and member that constitutes the organization.

Endeavor to review and continuously improve the SMS.

Establishing in writing concise and clear procedures for safety of ships and environmental protection in each stage of ship operation.

Setting of the standards for the full, equipment, machinery, and devices, and carry out inspection, maintenance and service according to such standards.

Ensure the safety of life at sea.

Evaluate, and provide training and education to SMS members, recognizing that people is a key factor for effective SMS.

Prepare countermeasures and practical procedures for emergencies, and conduct proper drills and training on shore and on board during ordinary times.

Complying with conventions and regulations, Paying due attention to the latest industry guidelines and recommendations.
